Hotel Front Office Manager received President's Award

Starwood Associate receives a prestigious Award for his dedication and commitment as a Front Office Manager at Le Meridien St Julians Hotel & Spa in Malta

Sep 22, 2009 - Aaron Vella, Front Office Manager at Le Méridien St Julians Hotel and Spa in Malta, has been awarded the prestigious President's Award by Starwood Hotels & Resorts for his outstanding performance during 2008. Mr Vella has received this award from the Hotel Manager, Angela Saliba.

To be eligible for this award a member of staff has to satisfy the specific criteria based on guest experience, employee satisfaction, moral and development, control on departmental costs, market contribution and other hotel contribution and staff activities.

Mr Vella joined Le Méridien St Julians Hotel and Spa in 2007 in the capacity of Front Office Manager. During his time with the hotel Mr Vella always showed his personal commitment and support.

He took the time to recruit and train a new Front Office team and, with determination and hard work, has managed to develop a great team. This focus throughout 2008 led the hotel to achieve outstanding results for the Front Office Team and improved overall guest experience.

Ms Saliba congratulated Mr Vella on the award, which is received from Le Méridien's parent company, Starwood, and commended him on his valid contribution in a key role in the hotel's executive team.
