Moules Frites Promotion Winner

752 kg of mussels consumed

St Julians, Malta - June 18, 2010. Corinne Vella is the winner of a weekend break at Le Méridien Brussels, including flights. She was contacted by telephone on June 4 by the XFM Big Drive Home team of Jay and Lee to be informed that she was the winner.

She was taking part in a promotion organised by Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa to coincide with last month's Moules Frites culinary celebration at the hotel's KuDéTa Lounge.

A hotel spokesman said no fewer than 752 km of mussels were consumed during the month-long promotion.
