Julian Calascione - LMMalta creative ambassador
After his student years at the Institute of Tourism Studies in Malta, Julian Calascione kept on widening his knowledge. His qualification ranges from various F&B aspects, Food Hygiene to Wine & Spirit Trust. With his passionate commitment, he made his way up from barman, Waiter, Chef de Rang, Head Waiter, Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Manager. He worked for reputed establishments in Malta such as the Xara Palace, the Mange Tout Restaurant, the Oracle Casino, the Intercontinental, the Palazzo Parisio and the Blue Elephant. His successful career path led him to work overseas at the Hilton in Wokingham (UK). Julian also acted as a Wine Service Advisor for Delicata, a local wine producer. Julian is now a Brand Executive for Demajo Group, the representative of Illy Coffee in Malta. He has been giving his ongoing support to Le Méridien St Julians to develop the Brand’s coffee culture.
His first initiative at Le Meridien was the Prima Tazza which was lauched on Friday the 27th of April 2012. Read more here
