Consuls gather at Le Méridien St Julians
Le Méridien St Julians Hotel and Spa was the venue earlier this month for a three-day meeting of Malta's consular representations abroad.
Organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference brought together around 95 consuls whose main responsibility is to represent Malta around the globe.
The highlight of the meeting was an afternoon session in which no fewer than 400 one-to-one meetings between consuls and local entities took place, making use of the entire hotel's meeting facilities and bringing out the best of what such a diverse product can provide.
Commenting on the event, hotel manager Angela Saliba said: "The success of the event is the result of months of preparation both by the Ministry staff and by Le Méridien's Sales and Events Team, who joined forces to make of this gathering a truly productive and successful one."
