Rambo VC Commander in Malta

On the 5th, 6th and 7th March 2010, martial artists and movie buffs are in for a treat at Le Meridien St Julians Hotel & Spa in Malta. Indeed, fans of martial arts will have the pleasure of meeting and training with Grandmaster Stephen M.D. Chang, during the "Martial Arts and Hollywood Secret Stunts" workshops happening throughout the week-end at the 5 star property in St Julians.

Grandmaster Stephen M.D. Chang is one of the top Hollywood martial artists/stunt coordinator/actors gracing the business. He took part in more than eighty-eight movies and TV productions including the award winning ‘Double Happiness' (1994), 'X-Files' and 'The Legend Continues'. Apart from being a world famous martial artist, his portrayal as the ruthless VC Commander in Rambo alongside Sylvester Stallone is what set Chang in the movie industry.

Grandmaster (highest rank in traditional Chinese martial arts) Stephen M.D. Chang started his training in Shaolin 10 Animals Style at the age of 5 and later furthered his studies in various other Martial Arts in China. He occasionally trained (and played) until the early 60's alongside his neighborhood friend who later became a martial arts legend, Bruce Lee. Later, both went their separate ways. Bruce set up in Seattle to teach his own style of martial arts, while Stephen ventured just north to Vancouver, Canada, to teach the "Shaolin Hung Gar" style of martial arts.

Grandmaster Chang was the founder of Shaolin Hung Gar style in Canada in 1969, and first started teaching the Canadian Armed Forces in Chilliwack. From the early 1970s to late 1980s Chang opened and ran 8 kung fu schools, and has taught over 10,000 students. He also teaches Tai Chi Chuan, Qi-gong and traditional Chinese medicine, especially to the higher level students.

At the end of this seminar organized at Le Meridien, the Grandmaster himself will give out best performance certificates and fans are also invited to come along just for photos and signatures. At the end of all events all participants, sponsors, fans and special guests will be invited for a celebration. Workshops are at a fee.

Anyone interested in the above mentioned workshops or regular classes in Shaolin Hung Gar Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chuan and Qi-gong may visit the website www.HungGarMalta.com for further information.
